How to File a Claim With SCHBSIF

Seek Medical Attention
Prompt medical care is critical after a workplace injury. Early treatment helps improve recovery outcomes, minimize complications and support a faster return to work.
2.
Report It
Report any work-related injury, illness, incident or near miss, regardless of whether medical treatment is needed. Report all workplace incidents immediately or within 24 hours.
3.
Submit Claim
Report claims by submitting a completed First Report of Injury form to claims@schbsif.com. Accurate, detailed information helps us respond quickly and effectively.
4.
Complete Required Documentation
Ensure the employee takes a completed Accident Reporting and Treatment Form to the medical facility, and request drug and alcohol testing on the day of the incident.
