Richard Balmer

Having joined the SCHBSIF’s team in 2019, Richard leads our risk control and safety department, equipping members with the tools and support they need to maintain safe, productive operations. He values the opportunity to work directly with members, helping them strengthen safety practices and build lasting improvements in their workplaces. A former bull rider in his younger years, Richard now enjoys raising cattle with his wife and cheering on his favorite South Carolina staple — the University of South Carolina.
